Once you have registered for your City2South/Sea/Surf event on our website you are officially part of the Free To Shine running team! We will contact you via email with fundraising resources and specific event details. These details will include Free To Shine team singlet pickup/delivery and meeting times and places on race day. You may also be given the opportunity to meet the Free To Shine running team before the race.
If you missed the cut-off date with Free To Shine, you may still be able to register through the official Westpac run page.

How much am I expected to raise?
As part of the Free To Shine team, each runner is encouraged to raise $300 to put towards a team total. Every $300 will enable Free To Shine to provide ongoing support to the girls on our program.

How do I fundraise?
Once you are registered, a link to our team Chuffed campaign will be sent to you. Pass this on to your friends and family, even work colleagues. Let them know that you’re running for a reason, and perhaps why you have chosen to do so. Chuffed is a fast, easy and secure way for them to make a contribution towards your goal. If they would like to find out more about our organisation, send them to our website www.freetoshine.org.

How do I share the Chuffed campaign page?
The Chuffed campaign page can be easily shared via social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter etc or by email with the Chuffed link attached.

Where does my money go?
The money for registration goes to The Sunday Age to register your participation, and to obtain a Free To Shine team singlet. The fundraised money goes onto our scholarship program. Follow us on Facebook to keep up to date with our latest news and progress!

How do I register a child to run?
This process is very similar to registering an adult. In order to register a child as a Free To Shine runner, the details form needs to be completed first. The second step takes you to the payment option page where you can finalise yours or your childs registration.

Where do I pick up my bib and my singlet?
Details about where to pick up your bib and singlet will be emailed to you closer to the event date.

Where do we meet on the day of the race?
We will meet close to the Yellow Start Line. Specific details of what to do on the day of the race will be included in the email sent by our team with your bib number etc. For all of the events, we will have a team member present on the day assisting to coordinate the lead up to the race!
